Butterfly Fairy WIP

Stitchy weekend.  Looking good!

WIP: Adia

Have not been able to stitch much in the last couple of months due to some partially numb fingers.  Turns out, I have carpal tunnel syndrome.  So much fun.  Still, the stitching must go on!  Here is my current WIP, which I hope to have finished in the next month so I can take a new project to work on at the Mirabilia Retreat in Ohio.

Also, I entered a couple of pieces in the Florida State Fair this year, and took home 2 blue ribbons and a Best of Show (my first!), so very excited about that.  🙂

I’m Alive! And I have a finish!

I really have still been stitching, I’ve just been very quiet about it.  😉

Here’s my completed Medieval Maiden from Joan Elliott.  First in her new series of historical ladies.

On to Mirabilia’s Siren and Shipwreck.  🙂

WIP Update

It’s been a tough month, and I hadn’t really been in a stitchy groove.  I did spend a weekend at a stitch retreat which has helped get my mojo back.  So here is my offering:

And here are the last 2 RR pieces I stitched:

WIP Updates

Last night, I broke a tooth while eating dinner.  That was lots of fun!  😛

But that’s not what you’re here for.  You want stitchy news!  And yes, I really have been stitching!

Finished these two pieces for my RRs:

Worked on my Mira during the stitch retreat, and the Nimue this last week:

And  I have today off work, so I think I will do some more on the Nimue then switch back to the Mira for a week.

RR Update

Finished stitching on Jacqui’s Round Robin piece this weekend.  Hope to get Debbie’s piece finished this week, then back to Forest Goddess!  That poor girl is having to wait a long time to get done.  🙂

Overdue update

Well, I am once more gainfully employed.  It is a temporary position through a staffing agency, but it is full time and pays well, so no complaints here.  Except, of course, less time for stitching!

Here’s what I have been up to.  Stitched this piece for Debbie’s Joan Elliott Round Robin:

Just received Jocelyn’s piece for the Mira Round Robin, but I probably won’t start on that until the weekend.  I want to get in a few days on Forest Goddess, she has been neglected for too long.  😀

I’ve also finished mounting and framing all my Seasonal fairies:

And after much measuring and climbing up and down the step ladder, I have filled up one of the boring, bare walls in my living room!
