Framed pieces

Just finished framing these two beauties in preparation for submitting them to the fair this weekend. I’m quite pleased with them, as I did the matboards and mounting the stitching myself. Also, for the mermaid, I had to chart out and and add some extra bits of seaweed along the bottom to cover a couple small red stains that managed to get on the fabric.
At some point, I will get the other 3 seasonal fairies done in matching frames and coordinating mats. These I had to get done right away, though. Guess we’ll see what the judges think now!

your stitching is amazing Stephanie, you put me to shame, I love Joan Elliotts fairy’s going to be starting the butterfly fairy, got all the supplies for it
